Benefit Systems amongst the Best Employers of 2017 according to AON Hewitt

Individual development plans, healthcare, financial support in education and corporate volunteering programmes are just some of the factors that contributed to Benefit Systems being recognised as one of the Best Employers of 2017 in the largest and most prestigious AON Hewitt survey.

AON Best Employers (Polish: AON Najlepsi Pracodawcy) is a worldwide programme which uses surveys and employees’ opinions concerning a given organisation to select companies that enjoy the best reputation. In this year’s edition of the survey, the title of the Best Employer was awarded, amongst others, to Benefit Systems.

The AON methodology is based on three pillars, namely reputation, pride and reliability. Benefit Systems has been using this programme to survey the satisfaction of its employees for a few years now. Due to the implementation of new employee-oriented incentive programmes as well as CSR strategies, the company’s results have been on a steady rise since 2015. In this edition of the survey, a record 79% of the respondents expressed high levels of satisfaction with work at Benefit Systems.

The guiding principle of our company is based on good relations and the win-win approach towards all our Partners, Clients, Users and Employees. We are striving to make it part of our company’s DNA. This is the foundation of our business and the key principle of building cooperation, both externally and internally, said Izabella Walczewska-Schneyder, CFO and Member of the Management Board at Benefit Systems, during the award ceremony. We place great emphasis not only on the financial results but also, to the same extent, on fairness and environment-friendliness as well as on the support for those who need help, she added.

The employees at Benefit Systems demonstrate their activity in sport (they receive the MultiSport cards), as well as remain socially and ecologically active. In 2015, the company launched the Dobry MultiUczynek (English: Good MultiDeed) social engagement programme, for which it allocates funds on an annual basis to implement a dozen or so philanthropic and volunteering projects. Since the programme’s launch, there have been as many as 53 MultiDeeds engaging nearly 200 employees of the company. It is the idea of helping other people that has become one of the most appreciated initiatives by the company’s employees in the AON survey.
Taking care of its employees, the company implemented a number of non-wage employee benefits, such as healthcare, insurance, subsidised postgraduate studies, free language courses and vocational training sessions, loans as well as a series of activities and integration trips. The company has also been focused on improving the internal functioning of the organisation – it launched an internship programme for employees in other departments (including directors) and flexible working hours, reinforced the possibilities of horizontal promotion, activated a new communications platform known as intranet emplo, and – most importantly – implemented Individual Development Plans for its employees.

In this year’s edition of the AON survey, the employees at Benefit Systems expressed positive opinions about the functioning of the work-life balance philosophy, the flexible working hours and the benefit package. The highest rating was received by the company’s socially responsible activities.
